How does one explain,
Memories with dull pain,
The ephemeral vaccum,
Indefinitely rewinds a day dream,
Without much gain.

Somehow I know lesser with age,
Answers raised more questions,
A heroic effort to defy an adage,
And conflicting thoughts in gestation,

Someday I will be at peace.
